11161 Zonne top

Geschreven: 14 januari 2017 door admin

Zonnetop

Zon en zomer en vrolijke kleuren worden gecombineerd in deze zonnetop die gemakkelijk door iedereen te maken is. De top is met de “tie-dyed”methode geverfd. De afbeelding is erop getekend met een textielstift.

1.

The top is washed at 40 degrees in the machine before dyeing. Fold the top in pleats and tie with cotton yarn (which is wrapped tightly around several times).

2.

For this top we have used approx. 3.5 liters of water heated to 30-60 degrees in which 350g fine salt is dissolved. Normally, use 1 kg salt to 10 liters of water.

3.

Add the colour. Here we have used approx. 35ml of ES Batik. Normally, use 100ml to 10 liters of water.

4.

Dissolve approx. 70g medium fix in a little water. Normally, use 200g to 10 liters of water. Pour into the dye bath and mix.

5.

Wet the fabric and put it into the dye bath for 30 min. It should float freely. Stir frequently.

6.

Pour out the coloured water and rinse the top.

7.

Cut off the cotton yarn.

8.

Rinse the top until the water is clean and then wash it in the washing machine at 60 degrees.

9.

Draw some palm trees with a fabric marker (remember plastic or something hard between the layers). Draw slowly and do not pull the fabric with the fabric marker.

10.

Sew on small rocaille beads on the neckline and straps.

Zijde sieraden sjaal

Door het verven van kleine zijden sjalen en deze aan elkaar te binden krijgt u een ongewone en grappige sjaal. De techniek is simpel en de sjalen worden gefixeer in een pan.

1.

Put the silk on a piece of polyester wadding and randomly brush on paint.

2.

Dab on colour blotches with a pipette

3.

Twist small peaks in the silk, and tie tightly around these with cotton yarn.

4.

Also, tie knots. Remember that where the silk is covered, the colour will be preserved, but it must be tight.

5.

Wrap and roll the scarf into a little ball and tie tightly.

6.

Put the balls into a pot of boiling water with colour added. Use 20 ml of colour to 1 liter of water. Use less for a lighter result. Here we have used orange. Simmer for 1 hour. Then rinse off the excess colour, dry and iron the scarfs.

7.

Tie three scarves together and plait.

8.

Tie the plait onto a scarf, which is then tied to another scarf and so on. End with a plait.
